I am unsure how to rate this. Personal preference is always a factor, even if I try to be objective. And this book had an unusual style. There is no real tension, action or drama. Although a MC is mentioned, except for the group of friends, this hardly features. Yes, Hunter is the unwilling new leader of a rival MC... But we are told this and there is no story there... It is a non issue. No real scenes or a story there.
And our hapless couple? They meet, Claire pigeon holes Hunter as a bad boy, he surprises her with his kindness, possessiveness and dominance... Some hot scenes, a marriage and that is their story. Throw in a scene or 2 from other couples in the MC and we have the full story.
I need some angst or action or something! This was just so blah. But others may feel different about a perfectly fine love story.
