Hooked!
So often we say that a book just hooked you in. However, I can confidently say that this book proves its ability to do just that. I didn’t realise how long this book is until my normal reading time was up and I was barely half way.
Cue absolute horror! I needed to finish! But it was already 11pm. So I did what any good reader does: sacrifice sleep. By 2 am I was still not done, but admitted defeat for only a short time.
I did finish the next morning, and yes, work was tough. But this book!
You have a coincidence that can only be fate, a mystery which seems obvious and is not. Our characters grow and redeem and, and, and, we’ll love each other with a pure love (this is slow burn, not clean) that is just so rare.
Loved this book! Read it…when you have enough time for one sitting.
