This review will not do the book justice
I highly recommend this book. It has heart, heartbreak, hope, redemption and love...so much love with a twist of sweet alpha male.
The story is written from Henley's point of view. Her story is heartbreaking as she comes back to the family ranch after the death of her mother. Keaton, childhood frenemy and neighbor, is there to annoy and push. Slowly, the reader gets to understand that theirs is a love story years in the making.
We get a little bit of tension from outside characters but it is Henny's walls that fall and emotional growth through her acceptance of a different interpretation of history that sets this story apart. And the one small chapter we get from Keaton's point of view? A total sucker-punch..making you want to reread the book! It totally blew my mind. Well done to the author for that twist.
Note: no matter the hint in the blurb, this is NOT a love triangle!
