Review: I Bite She Sucks: A Paranormal Werewolf Romantic Comedy

I Bite She Sucks: A Paranormal Werewolf Romantic Comedy by Penelope Bloom
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The fun, less serious side of PNR

So this is not one of those fated mates, alpha hotness PNR. What it is is the slightly less quirky cousin of Kiss Kiss Fang Fang. I Bite She Sucks has a similar tongue in cheek sense of humor but way less laugh out loud moments than KKFF. This is in no way a criticism as I still enjoyed the dynamic between Riggs and Sylvie and felt their relationship arc was realistic given the genre. There are some political shenanigan's left from the KKFF and as usual some suspension of belief is necessary. Riggs had a lot of emotional growth in the book - from hating blood suckers to accepting the needs of Sylvie very unselfishly. Sylvie's awakening to the outside world given her previously isolated existence makes her endearing and also shows her as a strong female lead that knows when to go with the flow and when to fight for what she wants.

A thoroughly enjoyable read!
