Review: The Alpha's Prize

The Alpha's Prize The Alpha's Prize by Sassa Daniels
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Book 5 in the claimed mates series - can be read as a standalone

The series has had books that were hot, a little dark and even a bit emotional. This book got the sweet side, despite the story premise.

Francesca has been the villain in previous stories, cast out and alone, running out of money, her snobbishness still makes her refuse the steadfast advances of Leonid, Alpha of the Russian pack. Viewed as viscous and beneath her as he fought for his title , rather than being from the previous reigning Alpha family, this book shows is "human" side. He is stubborn in his pursuit of Francesca, giving her enough leeway to be herself, but insistent that she accepts their pairing willingly. Spankings galore as Francesca tests Leo's resolve, the growing trust and understanding from both is a sweet contrast to the rest of the series.
