Quirky fun

Age play romances are a bit of a hit or miss for me. Some are sweet (sometimes sickly so) and others skirt too close to the ick factor for me.

Not so with Emme and Reyes. Although Emme has been sequestered away with an abusive father only sometimes checking in, she showed strength and a backbone even in her innocence of the world. The combination of sweet and strong suited Reyes to a T. His protectiveness, and grumpiness made for a great counterpoint to Emme. I loved their banter and interactions in general.

This is part of the MC Daddies series so there are some character overlaps and long-running story threads. I do think that you would be able to read it as a standalone though.

But why would you? This is a great series filled with quirky characters.
