As always Nicole has a way with words, but this time round I sometimes felt lost in the private jokes between Paige and Ward.

Nicole Snow has a way with words that highlights the most beautiful imagery. The banter in this book gives you that imagery and more. The joke is definitely on Wardhole. I appreciated that Paige stood up for herself and comes across as a strong and feisty heroine. The slow burn pace of the book enhances our belief that Paige is a real winner. Not so much for Ward. I have remained slightly unconvinced that he redeemed himself enough in the end.

In no way does this detract from a heartfelt and deserved HEA after a well thought out slow build in the connection between Paige and Ward.
