Dark in a totally different way
Gritty, this book brings you the baser needs and feelings. Although, acceptance is a running theme, being close to nature both physically and emotionally brings healing. Our characters fight to survive and in surviving, feel alive. I loved Brock and Jesse; stubborn but so right for each other.
Trigger warning for assault.. It is brutal.
