Review: Taken by the Wolves

Taken by the Wolves Taken by the Wolves by Sassa Daniels
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Less intense than some of the other stories in the series. It can be read as a standalone but is possibly best enjoyed as part of the series.

Carolina comes into her own in this story, although I did feel a somewhat discordant note at the end in her newfound confidence. I expected more of a build up, or perhaps to be party to her conversation with Marco. The drama in this book seemed less than the others. Added to this was the fact that both Neil and Duncan treated her almost with kid gloves. Carolina's moments of spunk.. And self doubt... weren't very emotional so the story lacked some depth.

The love connection between Neil, Duncan and Carolina is almost too sweet for the premise.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
