Review: Wrapped in Chains

The reader is warned that this book should not be read as a standalone. And although there is some continuation of storylines, and many different characters, I do feel disappointed at the resolution of the storyline from the previous book. The emotional connection was lost; the intensity between some of the characters were secondary in this book. It was such a let down that the storyline should have been concluded in the previous book. The previous book gave us such a huge emotional hit that just fizzed out here. This, combined with a very stilted start let's the series down.

However, the love story between Chains and Leia is emotional, and engaging enough to carry the book to a three star rating.
