Review: How to Rope a Rich Cowboy

How to Rope a Rich Cowboy How to Rope a Rich Cowboy by Anya Summers
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

It shouldn't work but it does

Talk about opposites. Colt and Avery cannot be more different. Avery has travelled the world, focused on her research with a good dose of nerdy klutz. Colt is the responsible one, staying to manage the farm on his family's behalf.

And yet, their unexpected meeting and subsequent sparks give each a piece they were missing. The book is a fun read and you are rooting for the couple's HEA.

There are some issues with the ending though. The resolution of the conflict felt too easy. And more so when we take the compromises needed for their HEA into consideration... Without giving too much away, the ending did not feel true to Colt's personality and sense of responsibility towards friends and family... There was a missing element to the ending in this regard.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
