Loved the one-liners in this book. This is a second chance, best friend's sister trope, and I loved the characters, the banter, the intrigue and the Oh-So hot moments.
Mark and Jess are both a little wary, and a little broken, but so good together. There are the usual misunderstandings, miscommunication and threads for conflict that don't quite go anywhere, but with so much going on, this is not too distracting. The secondary characters were interesting and added much to the overall story.
