Finding the path back

This book is different from the other Takeback series. There is no definitive "bad guy" per se. Instead, this book is about healing, understanding yourself and acknowledging the impact you have on others and their choices - what may be deemed good or bad decisions but choices we make nevertheless.

Cole is the quiet charmer of the group, and it was interesting to see how Mia (his past) fit so well with him. I was not so convinced at the start of the book and was hoping for a huge grovel story. But the path Riley takes with this story shows fantastic insight into the human psyche - doing what is right for you in the moment does not need a significant grovel - just an explanation and understanding.
