Fun and entertaining steamy romance

Love an excellent character-driven book where the tension is not crafted from happenings around the characters. Tessa carefully weighs decisions and next steps while Cooper is more impetuous, without long considerations. This defines their interactions as well as the plot more broadly. While Cooper's playboy ways were the first hurdle to their relationship, his occupation scares Tessa the most. But you cannot live your life in fear and seeing the pair overcome the hurdles in their way gives a satisfying HEA.

The physical attraction was explosive and forced the characters to face some hard facts: Tessa, her insecurities and Cooper his reputation in Tessa's eyes.
