Review: Fractured Vows

Fractured Vows Fractured Vows by Jessica Ames
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Family commitments, personal sacrifices and the hand of fate

Trapped by an arranged marriage that would make her current life look like a holiday, Sariah takes her first proactive defiant step. She meets Lucas in a club and puts in front of him a choice so difficult wiser men would have shied away. But with the spark, a flame ignites between the two.

But both have family commitments, keeping their true selves separate from the other as this interlude in their lives are bound to lead to nowhere. But we, as the readers, can see the hand of fate intervene.

I loved the suspense, the fact that this is a slightly different take on the forced marriage trope and that our characters have chemistry but also character.
