Familiar tropes make for a comforting read
The tropes should be very familiar: runaway bride, fated mates, some other man drama. Rachel runs from a forced engagement party when her wealthy and overbearing parents conspire with a family friend against her wishes. She lands in West Springs, working at the diner. Cord is surprised to scent his fated mate. Not only is Rachel human, but unexpected as he does not have a scent mate like the other men of the Two Marks pack. Or does he? Nate is surrounded by mystery in the book, and quite a bit of tension is created by this.
The book brings some mystery, a bit of suspense and character growth for all three of our MCs. An excellent relaxing read.
