Rev by Jeanne St. JamesMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
More emotion and less action
Part of the Blood Fury MC Series which should ideally be read in sequence.
Reilly is the sister of Deacon's Ol Lady and off limits to all club members. Rev, however, has been enthralled for almost a year now, never thinking to break the no-touch rule. However, a single message from his past changes this.
The story of Rev and Reilly takes place mostly outside of the MC and Manning Grove. Reilly pushed to be included in a trip Rev is taking to see his dying father. Here secrets are revealed and both Reilly and Rev are forced to face their individual pasts. This makes the story more character driven than previous Blood Fury books.
The intimacy that builds between Rev and Reilly are well written. Although I missed a bit of action in the story, this is a personal preference. I think this book is a great addition to the series and brings some balance to some of the more action suspense books in the series.
