Review: Wicked Liar

Wicked liar follows Ruthless Prince and Dark Captor. Although I felt the other 2 books could be read as standalones, even with the continuation of the suspense element, I would strongly recommend reading the first 2 books before Wicked Liar.

In this book, Dominic and Candace have to come to terms with their shared history but also the truths each have kept from the other.

Although a romance, I felt this book had a split focus with many of the suspense elements of the series coming to fruition. I was especially disappointed that I could not make the emotional connection with the characters given their tragic back story.

I did root for Dominic and his Angel's HEA. It was not that hard won, plot twist notwithstanding.

I do suggest a good editor, though. Missing words and clumsy sentences detract from the story.
