Soldiers and Sangria by Allison LaFleurMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
Loved the premise but execution needs some help
I thought the blurp and the main premise of the story was good. However, the book has some specific continuity issues so much so that instead of enjoying the story, I was going back verifying issues. Add to that the fact that our main characters spent little time with each other in the reader's presence and it becomes difficult to connect with Jaime and Roman. We did not witness their evolving relationship and know very little about the characters and their motivations and dreams... Except for the most superficial information about their careers.
